Biography
Mehrdad Moshtaghi, a 27-year-old architect from Arak, was severely injured on January 9, 2026, by a direct gunshot to his head from security forces during protests. He fell into a coma and died five days later on January 14, 2026. His burial was restricted by security forces to only immediate family members, and he was remembered as a passionate Real Madrid fan.
